Bio:

I graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Kyoto University and received my MD licensein 1992. I finished my Ph.D.at the Graduate School of Medicine, Kyoto University in 2000. I worked as a Post-doctoral fellow at the Department of Cancer Biology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute,Harvard Medical School, USA, from 2000 to 2004.I served as a Chief at the Institute for Production Development from 2004 to 2007 and at the Division of Translational Research, Kyoto Medical Center, National Hospital Organization, from 2007 to 2009. I became a Professor at the Division of Molecular Medicine, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Shizuoka, in 2009.
