Mark Your Calendar: HFAI-AHS Joint Session - Non-Ischemic Cardiomyopathy from Asian Perspective

A joint session of the Heart Failure Association of India (HFAI) and the Asian Heart Society (AHS) will be held on February 7, 2026, from 18:30 to 19:30 CST in a hybrid format at the Hyatt Regency Ahmedabad and online. Centered on the theme "Non-Ischemic Cardiomyopathy - Asian Perspective," the session will be co-moderated by Dr. Chopra VK and Dr. Abraham Oommen from India, together with Dr. Jianzeng Dong and Dr. Yuhui Zhang from China.

The session will commence with an introduction by Dr. Mrinal Kanti Das (IN), followed by a series of focused presentations: Dr. Harikrishnan S (IN) will speak on "Cancer Therapy and Heart Failure: A Blueprint for the Cardiologist"; Dr. Ying Liu (CN) will share "New Insights into Cardiomyopathy: Exploration and Practice"; Dr. Narasimhan (IN) will discuss "Arrhythmia Induced Cardiomyopathy - Implications in Asia"; and Dr. Chao Jiang (CN) will present on "Influenza Vaccination in Patients with Cardiovascular Diseases."

The agenda below will conclude with an interactive panel discussion, allowing for deeper dialogue on contemporary clinical challenges and practices relevant to Asian populations.
